How many does each Hideaway sleep?

Each Hideaway sleeps two adults.

What Self -catering facilities do the Hideaways offer?

Fridge, Kettle, small microwave oven and two induction hob tops, outside there is a BBQ.

What complimentary products are supplied?
Starter Hamper includes tea bags, coffee, milk (sachets), bread and Pipers crisps. 
Bathroom includes soap, shampoo &body wash and conditioner
Kitchen includes soap, washing up liquid, salt and pepper, cooking oil.
Please enquire about our luxury hamper to make your stay even easier. 

When can I use the hot tub?
Hot tubs are ready for your check in. To ensure the highest hygiene standards we perform a full water drain and clean between each booking therefore hot tubs must be ready for drain by 09:00 on day of check out. (If you have purchased a late check out time this is extended until 11:00)

Can I bring babies or children?
Hideaways are not currently set up for children. There is space for a travel cot for a young baby, please advise on booking form. 
Can I bring my pet?

Dogs and pets are not currently permitted.


Can I access my lodge by car?
Cars can drive to the setting where parking is provided. There is a short path to follow from your car to your Hideaway. 


Are the lodges suitable for wheelchair users or people with mobility difficulties?

We regret to answer that these Hideaways are not suitable for wheelchair users or people with mobility difficulties due to the stepped path that leads to each Hideaway. 


Can I get food delivered?

Due to the remote location of these Hideaways we recommend collection.

How far is it to the nearest shop?

There is a Co-op 5 minutes away, larger Tesco and Morrisons stores 10 minutes (distances given for car) 

How far is it to a restaurant? 

Restaurant information in booking information. 

 Whaley is 10 minutes, Chapel en Le Frith is 10 minutes, Disley is 15 minutes and Buxton is 20 minutes (distances given by car).

What are the nearby tourist highlights?

There really are so many attractions that is hard to know where to start!

The Horwich Farm base of The Hideaways has beautiful walks to Eccles Pike if you head upwards or to Whaley Bridge village and canal basin if you head downwards. 

Nearby is the beautiful town of Buxton with the Opera House, Pavilion gardens and eateries.

Castleton is 20 minutes by car to it's renowned walks, shops, Speedwell Caverns and even an outdoor swimming pool for those brave enough!

For a day outdoors there is Lyme Park, Chatsworth House, the Sett Valley Trail, Millenium Walkway, Fernilee Resevoir, Windgather Rocks, Etherow Country Park, Peveril Castle and GOYT valley to name a few. 

For a busier day there is the Peak Wildlife Centre, Alton Towers, Parrs Wood (for cinema or bowling) Go Ape, Trafford Centre, Chill Factor or Dino Falls Adventure Golf. You could travel by car or train to the cities of Manchester or Sheffield.

It is worth checking online to find what would suit you as there is so much to choose from.
